It is never too late to learn! If you are 16 or 60, 28 or 82, we have adult education courses for you. Classes are offered in English as a Second Language, Citizenship, Adult Basic Education (reading, writing and math), and Adult Secondary Education -- GED and high school diploma classes at your own pace. WHAT IS CAREER TECHNICAL EDUCATION?
Overview
The Career Technical Education program prepares students for careers in the skilled trades through academic and hands-on training, utilizing the most technologically advanced equipment. The program also provides experience through field work, contracts with private businesses and government-funded organizations.
Adults and high school students 16 and older are eligible to enroll in the courses, which include Automotive Mechanics, Computer Repair, Graphic Arts, Building Trades, Business Education and various other disciplines. Individuals with disabilities and special needs are encouraged to participate.
